The future of how services are delivered to the general public lies in the power of technology and the eRwanda project is at the fore front of ensuring that Rwanda is part of this technology revolution.

The Government of Rwanda with support from the World bank through the eRwanda project seeks to exploit ICT as the key for economic and social development by taking the dividends of ICT to every village, every citizen, every business and to re-engineer the way government operates.

The eRwanda project aims at using ICT to simplify Government procedures, bringing transparency, accountabilty, allowing greater public access to information and making credible timely information available to all citizens, as well as providing services in a more efficient and cost-effective manner on an online basis.
